The movers and the shakers
Lindsey Dieter is the founder of LEVER STUDIO. Trained as a contemporary ballet dancer, a fascination with movement and unwavering belief in the power of design to encourage physical engagement drive her creative work. Before founding the studio, she was the Design Director at The SEED, where she was instrumental in building the company, leading across every dimension of the business. Prior to, Lindsey was an Interior and Active Design Lead at WeWork, collaborating with Fortune 500 companies to successfully re-imagine their workplace strategies and design, a Project Manager at HLB Lighting Design, and a Store Designer and Visual Merchandising Lead at lululemon athletica.
Lindsey received her Master of Fine Arts in Lighting and Interior Design from Parsons School of Design with Honors and was awarded the Double Major Graduate Thesis Prize. She has served as faculty, guest critic, and lecturer across the Lighting, Product, and Interior Design programs at Parsons since 2016. Her work has been recognized by Interior Design Magazine's Best of Year Awards, Best of Design by The Architect's Newspaper, and has been published in Dezeen, Azure, Forbes, Fast Company, AN Interior, and Superfuture. In 2022, she was selected as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Lighting Designers globally. She considers wellness in every aspect of her work and will complete her WELL AP Certification in 2026. Outside of the studio, you can find her on the Olympic weightlifting platform, racing bikes, or with her hands in a bucket of plaster.
LINDSEY DIETER

Aarohi is a Lighting Designer at LEVER STUDIO with a background spanning both interior and lighting design. An artist at her core, she draws inspiration from the natural world and channels that sensibility into designing experiential environments. Her work reflects a deep expertise in wellness and fitness spaces, with hands-on experience across multiple Equinox locations in New York, California, Tennessee, and Toronto, as well as the Longchamp flagship in SoHo, New York.
Before joining LEVER STUDIO, she worked as a Lighting Designer at The SEED across high-end commercial, retail, and residential projects. Aarohi holds a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, both from Parsons the New School for Design, where she was awarded the Grand Prize in the IESNYC Student Lighting Competition. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
AAROHI MITTAL
Designer
Chiziterem comes from a multidisciplinary background spanning Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, and Creative Writing. Her voice is rooted in an interest in the relationships between space, perception, narrative, and the human experience, often moving fluidly between disciplines to question conventional approaches to the built environment.
Prior to joining LEVER STUDIO, she worked with L'Observatoire International, ZGF Architects LLP, and PODEX Associates, contributing to a diverse range of Hospitality, Commercial, Institutional, Landscape, Residential, and Retail projects. Across these practices, her work has encompassed architectural design, interiors, lighting, visualization, and experiential environments.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where she graduated Class Valedictorian, and a Master's degree in Interior and Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, where she received the Multidisciplinary Student Award. Her work has received recognition through numerous awards and distinctions, including an Honorable Mention in the Museum of Emotions international design competition, and has been presented through exhibitions and multidisciplinary collaborations.
